When I upgraded to iOS 10, the menus got screwed up and became unreadable. Im waiting for the update for this app, and I will be happy again.

Very intuitive to use, and well designed from an educational standpoint- Im just learning Hangul for fun, so perhaps someone learning for business or a more serious reason would want to pay for a more in-depth app. That being said, I have learned several languages through formal and am in the process of being certified as an English teacher, and I speaking from that background, the way the lessons were broken into small, manageable units with a quiz at the end of each was perfectly suited for those learning on their spare time, or as a hobby. The lessons followed a clear flow, and the charts with native speakers pronouncing the sounds were very helpful. My only complaint was that the "reading" part seemed very abbreviated, with no exercises, and only a handful of examples.

I have downloaded tons of apps to help me learn Hangul and so far this is the only one that has clear and detailed explanations of all of the pronunciations and how to read and write the characters. This app is really well written and encouraging. I have already learned much of the basics and its only been an hour. I really recommend this app to anyone interested in learning Korean.

This app explains the process of writing Hangul and saying the vowels and consonants well. It is useful for someone new to the Korean language.

I started learning Korean nearly 2 years ago, and not only did this app help me to learn the basics of reading/writing, I still refer back to it sometimes for stroke order. Definitely a good starting place for anyone interested in the Korean language.

I memorized the basic vowels and consonants in less than two hours. I thought it was hard, but it is not :D

Im just getting started and this app explains things much more clearly than the few books Ive bought. Its broken down step by step and meant to be read front to back like a book. The quizzes are a great study tool! Dont skip around and youll do great. (Btw, I majored in Chinese, and Korean seems much more logical and straight forward)

Learned the Hangul alphabet. in two days (nope, not kidding) with this app and a cute matching game online. Best feeling ever. I read it slowly, but hey, Ive put maybe four hours into this. It seems to work to me!

Really, the quizzes are great and the audio is fantastic. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because I really want an option that allows me to create my quizzes. Id prefer to only have to answer questions that ask you to match the native speakers pronunciation to the symbol. That is my weak point and I dont want to rely on romanizations

I really like that you can hear the pronunciation for each character as well as the animation to learn the correct stroke order. Each lesson has a quiz. And each quiz has a review section that work like study cards. You cant edit them but hey provide enough detail from the lesson you just went through. I was really surprised by the congratulations after completing 25% of the quizzes though. Hahaha.

Very well made and easy to follow. Love the history and the easy-to-understand explanations and audio. The quizzes are great and really test the knowledge learned. 감사합니다 ^^

Everything is explained in a simple and effective way. Ive only been using it for about an hour and Ive made great progress.

Its great help with starting korean! It even give you history of hangul, do you understand why it is, the way it is. I would recommend this slop to anyone starting korean, or just looking for some practice with there hangul!

Amazing app, its definitely worth downloading if youre looking to learn Hangul. It briefly brushing on basic history and provides an easy, understandable, and memorizable way of learning. Worth it. 5stars.
